Chaperones:

·         If you didn’t buy your tickets through the band or choir, you can buy them AT THE PERFORMANCE site for a large discount over the price they charge at the gate.

·         Also, if you drive you personal vehicle, you can buy a parking pass for $20 (a $10 discount over the price charged at the park) at the performance site, too.

·         I believe they ONLY ACCEPT CASH at the performance site sales, so please plan accordingly.

Things to Keep in Mind:

·         Frontier City is a cashless park, meaning you’ll need to bring any money you want to spend already on a visa/mastercard gift card (the kind they sell at wal-mart check-outs) OR convert your cash to a gift card in the park.  We suggest taking care of it in advance to avoid any potential troubles and to be sure it’s a card you can use in places other than Frontier City.

·         Frontier City has strict behavior policies that can result in you being removed from the park.  No profanity, line jumping, inappropriate behavior, etc.

·         They also have a dress code.  You’re expected to wear appropriate clothing the entire time you’re in the park.  (eg- swim tops must be covered up).  We will wear our trip shirts the entire time you’re in the park so that you can be quickly identified.  BTW-every group there is doing the same thing!  Wear close-toed shoes, too.  They won’t let you on many rides wearing sandals, etc.

·         Outside food & drink is not allowed in the park.  If you have dietary reasons for needing foods that they don’t have available, tell you director asap and we can help with that.   Food in the park is expensive, so plan ahead for how much money you bring!  We will have pizza at the buses for the ride home and lunch is provided, but you may want a snack at some point in the day.  Drinks are also expensive.  Drink wristbands will be for sale at the performance site for $15 which get you unlimited drinks for the day (assuming the website is still up to date!)

·         We recommend that you not bring along anything expensive to leave in the buses.  Security checks all bags entering the park, so it’s best to not carry one if you can.  There are lockers available to rent in the park, but they get taken up pretty quickly.

·         If you plan to ride water rides, put your cell phone in a Ziploc bag or other protection!  Please do this early enough in the day to give yourself time to dry out before getting on the bus.

·         You are expected to stay in groups of at least two people from our school.  If you get separated from your group and are found alone, you’ll have to stay with a director until a group can be found for you.

·         Students must stay inside the park until it’s time to meet at the buses.
