What: Clyde Boyd Middle School Winter Concert
When: Tuesday, December 10th
● Report Time: 6:30pm
o 6th grade will report to the stage in seats with instruments & music
o 7th grade will report to the band room with instruments & music
o 8th grade will report to the art room with instruments & music
● Concert Begins: 7:00pm
Where: Clyde Boyd Middle School Auditorium
What to wear: Students are asked to wear nice dress clothes, e.g. (Holiday or Winter themed would be GREAT!)
Boys – slacks, belts, dress shirt, tie-if you have one, & dress shoes
Girls – dress, slacks, nice shirt or blouse, & dress shoes
Dear CBMS band parent(s),
This letter is to inform you of our Clyde Boyd Middle School Winter Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 7pm in the Clyde Boyd Middle School Auditorium. All 6th, 7th, 8th grade and jazz band students will be participating in the concert. This will be the bands’ first performance of the school year, so please come and show your support. Please invite friends and family members to come and watch too! We can’t wait to show off what these musicians have been up to this year.
Please have your child here a little before 6:30pm so that they will have time to get their instrument, music, and themselves situated for the concert.
We have a partnered with a professional photographer who will be here to do individual portraits of the kids with their instruments before the concert if you choose to take advantage of the opportunity. These are done on a pre-order basis and are entirely optional. They do make great holiday gifts!
Please plan on staying to watch the entire concert so that your young musician can see what the other groups are doing & get an idea of the things they can do next year. We know you will be impressed with the development from year to year!
